G-Project
About G-Project
Our goal is to inspire girls so that they aspire to greatness. Through the art of photography,
G-Project will give girls of varying backgrounds an opportunity to learn about and be inspired by the amazing things diverse women have done and continue to do around the world.
Inspired by photographer, Jaime Moore's personal project featuring her own daughter, our project will feature girls of different backgrounds as influential women who have broken ground in various careers and life paths.
Our hope is that through G-Project, girls will see aspects of themselves in these amazing women, and become inspired to be leaders, trailblazers, and role models in their own right. We believe in the importance of encouraging every girl to challenge herself and make an impact in her own special way.
This collective of professionals is comprised of a team lead, photographers, videographers, stylists, designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, and a social media, PR, and marketing team.
Aligned with Women's History Month in March 2014, we plan to launch an interactive website featuring girls 1) portraying our hand selected list of women role models and 2) themselves.
To fulfill our goal of educating girls (and the public), the website will also include
- Information about the women role models featured in the photo shoot
- Interviews with girls, women, parents, and individuals and partners of G-Project
- Video footage and behind the scenes content
G-Project will circulate the final product via various social media platforms: Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
